Is there a person or animal that the rabbit/bat reminded you of? Or maybe someone that you care for the same way you cared for that rabbit in the dream? If so, then maybe that person or animal was someone who the dream was talking about and used the rabbit as the character instead. Or maybe your your dream was trying to tell you something such as "be careful when you're in a hurry." Do you rush through things a lot? Or maybe there is someone who you are afraid of hurting emotionaly. Like when people say something like "you broke my heart" maybe your dream just took it litteraly. Or maybe there is someone you are afraid of losing. Or maybe you subconsciencely wish to care for and love and nurture someone as you felt with the rabbit in the dream.
