Is anyone here old enough to remember the woman who was big in the news who accused her husband of rape?

There was a bit of a controversy about it. "A husband can rape his wife?!?!?" This would be been sometime in the 90's. Which were the people that thought that a man can't rape his wife? Liberals or conservatives?
