Would your heart have been warmed by this?

I was playing golf yesterday evening when on the 10th tee an old lady approached us. She had lost her dog (it had ran off) and 'had we seen it?' We had not seen it. For the remainder of our round we could hear her calling the dog's name. Darkness was setting in and the cries were becoming more and more anguished and desperate. We saw her again on the 17th. We enquired as to the dog but it was nearly dark and she seemed resigned to the fact that her dog was dead. Heart warming.
