Did MF Hussain create controversies to sell his paintings or was it genuinely art?

Being an creative i can say, in 20th century realism and modern art is most misunderstood. we must learn from 18 and early 19 century artist. His artwork were below average had not basic understanding of human anatomy and principle. He chosen Modern art which does not require enough effort to produce creativity when he had failed to sell his crap art in early 70st he created fuss around old era bollywood actress "Meena Kumari" (similar scandal he created with Madhuri Dixit and others to boost his name among high profile peoples.). look at his art carefully there is no meaning he was Over Hyped by media and Lucky to get rich overnight " accidental millionaires". He took advantage of being a citizen of India where freedom of speech and creativity is there and he made several nude paintings of Hindu idol in a very very inappropriate way. There are hundreds of high profile artist but they never ever made any controversial paintings ....why only he? was he superior? of course he just wanted to create his name and took advantage.
